About Us
Sphere Creations Inc. is a new corporation with an exciting patented game: World Class Mini Soccer.
World Class Mini Soccer is the world’s first aerodynamic, realistic, one on one soccer simulation table game. The game is designed and built with affordable and cost effective materials, reducing the manufacturing costs and making the game affordable to children and adults worldwide, with price points for each territory relative to their cost of living. Our target territories include Mexico, parts of South America, South Africa, parts of Europe, the middle East, New Zealand, and Australia.
In choosing soccer as the basis for our game, we have used one of the world’s most popular sports and made it accessible to all kids.
We would like to achieve saturation of most these areas within the next year, in time for the 2010 World Cup.
The game is based on a simple concept: To dynamically recreate the game of soccer in the most realistic and accurate way possible. This concept is realized with a number of different game elements.
Players of the game are direct participants in a World Class soccer match in their own stadium. At the start of each round, players pieces are placed on the field in formations decided by each player, according to the rules of the game.
Playing the game is based on actual interaction directly with the board and the ball itself. Players will take turns attempting to propel the ball into the opposing team’s goal. Realistic recreations of the soccer field itself and the players allow for true immersion and interaction with the game.
The style of game play also permits players with disabilities who would otherwise be unable to play soccer, to directly experience the thrill and excitement of a fast paced soccer match. Additionally it allows soccer to come right home for children who actually play the game in real life, and allows them to participate in the thrill of a high stakes World Cup match in their own living room.
We offer two distinct types of player pieces. Our normal pieces are sealed magnetically to a ferrous compound on the inner surface of the box. This means that when the game is started, the players can dynamically place their players on the field as appropriate, and the player pieces can then dynamically restage as the game progresses. Optionally, you can play with special non-magnetic pieces that wobble and spin when struck with the ball.
While players are not permitted to directly interact with the player pieces once the game begins, the magnetic seal does permit mobility of the player pieces if struck by the ball, meaning that the layout of the pieces may dynamically shift as the game progresses.
Additionally, there is an optional half-time rule allowing for restaging of the player pieces half way through the game.
Ramps are placed on the sides of the board, permitting elevation of the ball. These ramps allow for even further exciting developments, as players can attempt to cause the ball to go flying into their opponent’s goal for additional points.
This should be done carefully however, since it is also very possible to commit a foul when doing this – should a player (or worse still the goalie or referee) be knocked down when a shot like this is attempted, it means a red card for the offending player, and the immediate loss of one of their pieces.
We have endeavored to create realistic teams based on both our target markets, and the countries participating in the World Cup. This allows for more realism for children playing the game, as they can decide to represent their own host country, or (with the purchase of other teams) additional teams worldwide.
This also opens up the market for lucrative expansions after sales of the initial game board, as children and their parents can purchase additional teams for additional immersion in the game experience.
